My new rims and power balance
My signature rim colour was fluorescent PINK.
I received new Power balance stocks recently and I want it to be drift inspired colour, I chosed fluorescent GREEN.
Bought new set of rims just to match.
Some people had doubt on Power Balance, i'm using it for the positive effect to me, mylar or not who cares, its mine and the athletes still using it till now.
Most people buy the pirated/ counterfeit one, what did they expect it to works? buy originals or don’t buy at all.
Do I look like I care? hahahahaha!

The Crabsteer SPL Version 2.0
Since it is so hard to get the Overdose chassis, the great TC-D chassis creations was further altered. Enjoy drifting it always... :)

I had tested the car after the lower deck mods posted recently. Feels right but can be much better. The rear had more traction due to the flex but feel unbalance. Further observation makes me realised that the LEFT side was having difficulties flexing to the left due to the servo mounting. It was designed to be mounted that way but it was not with super flex lower chassis. I had a solution for it...
As planned earlier (but not this radical....), i think that the servo must not be touching any part of the lower deck. It might be twisted due to the torque servo swing.
I decided to mount the EVERYTHING to the motor mount and let nothing touching decks.

Using a carbon panel, I customised the servo holder and the esc mount. It took me 2 days to really find the best absorber setup for the new flex. I am so happy, i'm going to stick to the current setup. Trust me, the "floating" component makes the biggest difference.

The upper decks were leave as stock due to the flex from below is sufficient for my driving style.
STD TC-D = Have to set soft suspension = losing overall grip on high traction track
Crabsteer SPL = Can to set from soft to Medium suspension settings = Can adjust overall grip on high traction track such as carpet
This is not a normal?.. GOKIL? Overkill?
Yes I'm....
Cheers!

Another TC-D chassis found...
Another NEW Hot Bodies TC-D option chassis.
Similar to Overdose but still different. In my opinion the Flexibility is moderate.
Forgot to take the manufacturer or designer name. :(
I dont know why i like to talk about CHASSIS so much, but I know I want it ALL. :)
Stay tune this coming Monday for my Version 2 Crabsteer SPL mods details. Going to HPC to test it now! Ciao! :)

3 Updates on my TC-D
Yeehaa!
I received my TC-D parts which includes Version 3 spool (POM material), o-rings set & HPI purple rear hub carriers. Shipments from Japan & US separately.

I just being notified that any Overdose parts are available for grab. The things i want will cost my arms and my legs and...
Knowing that the decks are available, i decided to modify my current upper & lower decks according to my carefully calculated specs for better side flexs. I'm not saying it is an improvements as i haven't test it yet. Hopefully it will be a better chassis. My theme is GUNDAM Style pattern!

cheers!

Chassis Decks continues
My personal favorite variations few months ago, never shared it before :)
I had mod my TC-D chassis just to balance it up. Trust me it was not as balance in standard trim. The flex is better but it is not exiting to see. I spent lots of my time searching and studying on chassis, suspension etc. Here are among my collections. I'll share with you my chassis mods later.
These are very rare and almost never heard of. Some say it was meant for major TC-D productions but halted due to the change of HB directions. There are rumours saying that the whole Hot Bodies technical department revamped and even Yodo quits. Yodo did Overdose with tuning company WELD. Who knows... :)

Today i found this from Sobaya blog. This is not the first time i saw the combination of OTA and TC-D design. Maybe it was among Sobaya's friend blog..

earlier last week, I got this from KN blog. He is ann extremist. Maybe he is actually she as after the post there is the same girl posing... Is this a girl craft?

I'm resting today, looking forward to post another page. Subscribe me for my motivations! Thank you for reading!

My TC-D development story....
Yeap i got 2 instant wish lists:
1) to learn how to create a good drift videos for me and my Max Power Drift Agency.
2) to share a complete car settings info specifically for Counter dori, specifically TC-D.
I am learning to create a good videos. Bare with me for a while. Need to find a good video recording cam and need to find time to go to drift track during the days. I always drift at night at HPC Glenmarie, need to find a good lighting. :)
My TC-D:
At the moment I am pleased with my TC-D but as you can see i never share any info in this blog yet. The reason was i havent got the time to showcase the full details of it.
Purchased the the Hot Bodies TC-D and some of the parts on 19th June 2010.
Some of the upgrades purchased were:
- Cyclone One way Ver. 2
- Hard HPI Spring (red)
- Square Pulleys: 13T, 15T, 20T
- Square rear pulley: 40T and 30T
- Some shims and accessories.

The Crabsteer-Dori (TC-D)

Since the announcement of TC-D release back in quarter 4 2009, many of us were observing the potential of the kit. At that time, I still preferred an Alex Racing CER DO8 due to the original front mount chassis ideas and my fav team D-Like are driving it. ordered it 3 times and waited too long, i decided on my second options, TC-D. It was proven to be better in terms of standard kit given, quality and setup potential. I'll share my review later. Stay tuned!
I found few interesting info on HPI TC-D, the below credit goes to Waruiko Works of Chance Circuit.
RC ART will released the TC-D conversion kit prototype soon.
Malaysia availabilities? keep dreaming. :)
Noticed the new Motor Mount?
The lower deck design seems to focus on more tuning option for chassis flex for better traction tuning. Looks awesome!
Obviously the front was meant for hard setup. Totally makes sense if refering to our current CS setup. :)
Wanna know more? Hold your horses... so many things to share.
