Super Junior are coming to Malaysia in May 2011?
K-POP! It started when my wife asked me to buy her first SUJU concert last year (2010).
We went there and I was impressed with the show.
Why? The Korean stage were full of lightings, lazers, neon, videos, and due to the group members were like a .... lots, they took turn to perform.
Their show was non stop and I saw females getting NZT - like energy (watch LIMITLESS movie please) till the end. The queue was like from Shah Alam to Subang long and the SUJU fans were like from Indonesian, Thailand, Singapore & Malaysia.
We missed Super Show3 last March, but there were rumours saying that SUJU is coming again in May 2011. It was said to relate to Hari Belia, 1 Million youth gathering etc. The information I got from a blogger, Nabila Beelie, it is on 28th may, 8.30pm in front of Istana Kehakiman.
When I learn to edit my RC Videos, I included few K-Pop songs such as SNSD, Big Bang. It is easy but the size of such videos were extremely large and my broadband quota were used up too much. The previous editting were complicated to do and I got lazy.
Recently I posted few competition videos from RCCZ without to much contents. Even with no backgroud music. It was simpler, easier and I got excited to post a few.
Why I posted this?
It was funny when Malaysian RC Videos uses Korean music and Korean/Japanese post, they used hardcore, English Rock / Metal musics. Even Orido crazy about Harley Davidson, when most of us here really wanted a Japanese superbike and cars.

Crabsteer SPL version 3
After 2 months driving my mods Version 2 as posted here http://crabsteer.blogspot.com/2011/02/crabsteer-spl-version-20.html
I was bored and decided to use the same principle but using other plates.
Active Hobby, CER-X had implemented the flex control as well.
I another plan to mount the absorbers differently, it will be later.
With the success on Version 2 both during bashing or competitions, Here are the updates on the latest crazy design.
It was hand customised using real carbon plates, 3mm centre shim, 2 counter sunk washers, tools, vacuum cleaner (to vacuum the carbon dust while cutting) cold nescafe, sempoerna hijau, understanding neighbours (finished at 3am) all everything la.
After careful measuring and thinking, this centre was made. i measured the equal servo mount and drilled using 3mm bits. 2 servo hole and additional 1 hole near the centre motor mount. the new holes must be made countersunk for the screw to be flush. I want it to looks factory.
Top view..
Back view notice the new 2 screws vertically? No? good.
Side view, 3mm gap tested to be flexible yet some fine tuning on the shocks needed.
Angled view... the new carbon looks yellowish and mean...
Assembled, yeap the wiring was not tuck, I'm drifting with LED and brake lights now (after 2 years stop using led). Tonight is the shakedown night at HPC/RCCZ. lots to do. See you there.
P/s: Banggotan, if you are reading this.. See you soon at RCCZ, we welcome your visit someday later... :)
Cheers!

Fijon fdc 2 story- Kuchai's - Updates
Continue from previous post here http://crabsteer.blogspot.com/2011/04/fijon-fdc-2-story-day-1.html
As I sms and informed those who asked, some irresponsible SHOP selling at rm850 by TAKING OUT FEW IMPORTANT PARTS SUCH AS THE UPPER BULKHEADS AND ALL THE ALLOY TOE BLOCKS. These alloy were replaced with plactics.
Kuchai need to replace it with the alloy one again. Spent more than what he should in the end. The part is not cheap as well. So if you choose to buy Fijon version 2, we will give all in the package, Unopen plastics. All complete and you should think on how to improve it.
NO chassis is perfect, ALL depends on the driver with the correct setup.
Important upgrades are:
TRF absorbers (touring type) about rm220 and
Front UJs prefer Square Ver2 44mm retailed at rm169 or Tamiya originals 44mm.
I made the angle too much (best) but the Fijon UJs cannot stand the abuse. 1 day dah kaput. That is why Tengku Djan use Nismo parts for his Nissan and not cheap HANJING parts.
Not all China product is cheap, some is value for our money, 2 different things. Fijon is Value for money. Having said that the front UJ and the absorber is a must to perform and to be consistent.
The rear can whack the Fijon UJs first and can use Tamiya, 3 Racing, etc for the rear. No need to spend more as we dont need a high angle Ujs for the rear.
Included in the originals real FIJON package, Alloys bulkheads and Toeblocks. Very important.
TRF dampers. So easy to assembled and tune. Very consistent damping.
First order had been posted, passed and few reserved. Thank you.
The end of Kuchai's Fijon story. Stay tuned for EE DoriYAa Fijon V2 "Blasted Crab" Edition! via my blog www.crabsteer.blogspot.com

The Fijon FDC 2 story: Day 1
Just got the new Fijon FDC Version 2. As I posted before selling at rm980 for the first 20 units. If i'm not mistaken, the as of now, 23 unit booked, will pass to the first paid and collect basis. Will arrive today and expecting to pass to drifters latest by this Wednesday due to custom clearance. As USUAL, I will give the best supports possible, let me start with sharing about the version 2.
As you can see the stock factory angle was not in the best form. Too much angle is not good for the handling but this is too less. As usual, we need to grind the knuckle stopper and select the most angle position as desired. As per my learning and testing. Parallel ackerman is not necessarily the best for high speed drifting. The faster you are the more ackerman you need. I find the outer tire need to be maximum angle possible and the inner tire is about 2-3 degree lesser. By looking at first glance it might be seems parallel but with measuring, the outer need to have a bit more... high speed feint and slowspeed change of direction should be easier. :)
After observing the stock angle, I noticed the right things as above. At least we can forget about the shock lenght for now...
When I received the chassis, I understand some other friend install it for Kuchai (owner). His overall installation was ok except few important things. The above shown the front top deck was installed to the wrong side. The clearance should be to the right side. Please take note. We need those belt to be smooth and durable. :)
The bearing holders were installed touching the bulkheads. No no no! We need a smooth drivetrain for many reasons. The above shown the first chassis mods. I measured and create the new steering position for the best ackerman setup for this chassis.
I also added 3mm spacer under the steering position. The clearnce at the arrow should be just nice! Be mindful of the belt clearance at all time, additional cutting may be required. The end result today, almost the maximum angle without changing parts! I'm too sleepy to continue. Kindly wait for my second updates. Cheers! Questions: How frequent do I change UJ? Answer: I drift about 5 days week and will not stop until very late for the day, my front UJ lasted about average 1.5-2 months. Rear UJ might be 2 - 3 months. The fastest change was about 3 weeks when my car angle is more than the UJ. Now my UJ angle is more than the TC-D angle, It lasted longer. Dont use China low quality UJ for the clones. It is not worth it. :)

Race Report: RC Central Zone Rccz April Cool
Race Report: RC Central Zone Rccz April Cool Drift Competition
Venue: RCCZ, Glenmarie Shah Alam Date: 9th April 2011 Judge: Black
Event coordinator: Haidi, Sam, Achom, Black
Yesterday was a blast! 25 drifters were there to compete against their friends. The event started at 4pm and ended at about 11pm. Black had stressed again on the racing lines for both qualifying and tsuiso battle. A good lines were given for us to follow. I personally like and agree with the layout, lines and judging. have you watched a movie"I am number 4"? Well I was in the movie yesterday. Yes, i didn't won. 4th place is killing me. The feeling are even worst than best 8. Too near to the podium finish, it was my own fault. You can see few videos. I appologies not to be able to post all the pictures and videos as my broadband quota is almost fully utilised. (broadband sponsors are welcome). Overall the event were ok. The Bihun with the sosej were ok. The prizes were ok. Even the weather were ok. :)
I'm glad with my Max Power friends acheivements. I have told that the battery are CONSISTENT. Thank you for your supports towards MaxPower!
In Malaysia, we had mixes of Drift Chassis, we use various chassis according to our own preference. It colours our RC drift scene!
