3 Updates on my TC-D
Yeehaa!
I received my TC-D parts which includes Version 3 spool (POM material), o-rings set & HPI purple rear hub carriers. Shipments from Japan & US separately.
I just being notified that any Overdose parts are available for grab. The things i want will cost my arms and my legs and...
Knowing that the decks are available, i decided to modify my current upper & lower decks according to my carefully calculated specs for better side flexs. I'm not saying it is an improvements as i haven't test it yet. Hopefully it will be a better chassis. My theme is GUNDAM Style pattern!
cheers!

Stock Cefiro Autech drifter from Noriyaro
wordings: Noriyaro
Here’s something interesting I saw waiting to head out onto the tracks at Nikko Circuit a little while ago. While most cars you see at the circuit have a fairly reasonable amount of modifications, occasionally you see something that’s almost dead stock, wheels included. Not only is this A31 Cefiro still in the same shape as when it was delievered, it’s the Autech version that came with a high-flow turbo, different engine tune, custom bumpers and olive paint among other things.
Same bodykit with mine,i like!
D1 documentary at www.tonton.com.my

Chassis Decks continues
My personal favorite variations few months ago, never shared it before :)
I had mod my TC-D chassis just to balance it up. Trust me it was not as balance in standard trim. The flex is better but it is not exiting to see. I spent lots of my time searching and studying on chassis, suspension etc. Here are among my collections. I'll share with you my chassis mods later.
These are very rare and almost never heard of. Some say it was meant for major TC-D productions but halted due to the change of HB directions. There are rumours saying that the whole Hot Bodies technical department revamped and even Yodo quits. Yodo did Overdose with tuning company WELD. Who knows... :)
Today i found this from Sobaya blog. This is not the first time i saw the combination of OTA and TC-D design. Maybe it was among Sobaya's friend blog..
earlier last week, I got this from KN blog. He is ann extremist. Maybe he is actually she as after the post there is the same girl posing... Is this a girl craft?
I'm resting today, looking forward to post another page. Subscribe me for my motivations! Thank you for reading!

D1GP &D1SL 2011 Race Schedule
BEST 32 D1GP drivers stats so long ago.
I found this on the net when considering my A31 Suspension setup last year. It seems my HWL Top Perfect is not perfect for daily driving. After 3 years using 14kgmm for the front and 6kgmm for the rear, i WAS having issue with understeering at low speed. I changed to 8kgmm for the front at it was a yeay for me!

In the 2001 D1 Series, he experienced technical difficulties and ran into quite a few problems. In 2002, he accumulated a lot of points placing him 3rd in the final standings. The sedan doesn't have as much potential as the coupe, but this doesn't seem to be a problem for someone with his driving skills. "The Consistent, Agile Drifter"
In the 2002 championships, he didn't quite stand out as much as many thought he would. Although he didn't rank in the top 3, this year he is expected to get on the podium. He's invested as much money into this vehicle as most of the other D1 Works Machines. This vehicle had very few problems and mechanical difficulties throughout the season. This is probably one of the reasons why he's ranked so high.

"Crash King Drifter"
From the middle of the season to the final rounds, he began winning quite a bit and acquired Priority A ranking as a seed competitor. His overall standings were even better than he would have imagined. Although he's known as the Crash King, his drifting experience has actually been very consistent and quick. He's known to be a bit intimidating and acts tough, but on the inside he's all candy, flowers and teddy bears. This is probably why he has continuously gained a lot of support from his fans

The "Rear Chase Style" Drifter
He's like an ugly dog without a leash. There are no rules in his book, he's just an aggressive drifterperiod. He comes very close to other vehicles. Some say perhaps too close. When he shows in Option Video, he's always dressed in strange camouflage costumes. To say that he is a unique character is an understatement.

"The Stable High-Speed Corner Drifter"
2002 was the first year he's driven the S15, but it wasn't very controllable. In round 4, Tsukuba Circuit, nonetheless, he attained 2nd position. His speedy, stable drifting style is very exciting to the audience. His thoughts are that drifting behind someone and with someone is much more fun than drifting by yourself. Even during practices, he performs Twin Drift Style with Kumakubo.

Probably one of the most famous, charismatic drivers of the 180sx. He doesn't care too much about ranking. It's totally an art for him. From the stock base, he shaved off 250 kg of weight from his car. Dry carbon panel was created for his interior originally. Even on his doors, he has dry carbon panels.

But, after switching to an FD3S from the previous Altezza, he took first place in the 4th stage at Tsukuba Circuit. He also took first place in the final stage and became the 5th place overall series winner.

2002 was the first year he's driven the S15, but it wasn't very controllable. In round 4, Tsukuba Circuit, nonetheless, he attained 2nd position. Probably one of the most famous, charismatic drivers of the 180sx. He doesn't care too much about ranking. It's totally an art for him. From the stock base, he shaved off 250 kg of weight from his car. Dry carbon panel was created for his interior originally. Even on his doors, he has dry carbon panels. be-craft suspension setup
Observe the roll centre, springs tensions you'll get some ideas. Off course RC Drift dont have such tractions, put your thinking cap and try it. :) i need to get some sleep. ZzZzzz.
Track facilities...
Kalaulah ada track simple macam ni kat area Lembah Klang kan bagus. Ramai orang yang mampu practice. A31 aku tu dah lama tak tukar rim 16 kat belakang...:)
Memanglah "takde duit jangan main kereta", tapi Track Sepang dah macam untuk golongan "sangat" berada, fee pun makin naik, maklumlah international track...
Track Batu tiga dulu dah terbukti mesra rakyat digantikan dengan perumahan supaya anak penduduk di situ boleh berkata "Saya tinggal di kayangan cikgu..".
Track setiap Sabtu kat MAEPS pun dah rosak binasa. Siapa yang tegar saje yang main. Track Melaka best tapi siapa nak drive sejauh tu? Towing? Kos jadi sama main kat Sepang. :)Workshop2 cuba masuk event yang diorang mampu (drift, drag, time attack).
Tahun 2005 punya hobby. :)
Best aku tengok bila Menteri Belia dan Sukan rasmikan FX Open Drift even tahun lepas. Nampak dia macam syok je ngan drift. Tapi setakat tu je la. Kalaulah dia buat RC Drift track kat Selangor ni, mesti dihargai orang punya! RC Drifter kita pun ramai yang dah menang kat Singapore & Indonesia. Kita boleh maju lagi.
Tunggu la track baru RCC buka nanti... Pihak swasta yang buat. Kalau government support kan bagus... :)
Isu ini kecik aje bebanding isu pentadbiran negara. Malaysia boleh dikatakan berjaya. Cuma aku rasa kalau golongan macam aku ni dikasihi, aku mengasihi mereka juga! Yearh!

My Drift & My Cats
Back in 2009, i got this "Damansaran" (Not Persian etc) cat. hehehe.
I named it LEO ZAINAL. That name sticks and i dont know anyone name Zainal around me. :)
He had been my good company and has been well cared. :)
He dont need chair...
He thinks & eat a lot...
Few months ago, i pity a tiny kitten found at HPC/RCC track. Now he is a hero. We called him Leona, thought he was a she. Fu*k it, the name sticks. :)
I saw another kitten playing around like no body business at Nawas Maju after our drift session at HPC/RCC. By looking at his KUYU eyes, i pity (again) it take her home. We called her Kuyu Lulu.
My wife said to me, dont bring back another Cat to our home or PITY me!:)
As you can see, all my Cats are RC Drift related as deserve a page here.
Cheers!

Fancy colour, regardless what people said about VDF, overall, i like it except for the steering angle. I like it to be more. But wait... what i noticed, during competitions people are using lesser angle.
Why? to win? to drive easier? to be consistent?
So VDF stock steering angle is right or wrong? :)

Keiichi is no longer associated with D1
Taken from 7tune:
On his blog today, Keiichi Tsuchiya left an impassioned personal message for the fans of drift and also, one for the drivers of D1. 7tune, as always, is on hand to translate for all the world to see and understand…
Concerning the future.
“Dai chan and I are making an event for everyone who loves drift. We are now negotiating the details with Hot Version and not just for an event that is the best of its kind, but with an aim to build one from the ground up. This is a very different view from before and we are now currently discussing what content to include.”
“We can’t do this by ourselves and again I want to ask for your help, with the same spirit and objectives as before. I’d like to create these values together with people who are passionate about drift. Please expect us to power up through Hot Version.”
“As for other matters, I will continue to keep doing interviews, among other things, and I will put all my best efforts into these projects without letting up.”
“As sad as it is for me to say this, I will no longer be associated with Option Video, D1SL or Doriten as these titles are directly related to the D1 banner of which I am no longer a part.”
To the D1 Drivers.
“In these past 10 years you guys have grown magnificently and have never given up despite the many problems you faced. You gave us all your best efforts and I want to thank you for them. We are going a different way now but I ask you to believe in and be true to yourselves and your ways. I want you all to know that, together with Hot Version, we intend to create and nurture an event to be as big as D1.
“I don’t want to lose any of you and it’s a little persistent, but make sure to take care of your fans and your friends!!”

Man oh man… This round has changed me. The turnout was over 40+. Everybody was excited to compete.
The event starts a bit late than schedule and following Street Jam international format.
1) No free practice for everyone on the race day only 5 minutes controlled practice in groups
2) The layout will only be disclosed on the event day
3) Controlled tyres, Square Mega hard.
4) Group qualifying with 2 categories, Expert and Super Expert
I was struggling with the traction (again) on carpet. Always play on the slippery cement made my setup hancuss! Need to play on carpet more to get better setup.
I need to sleep before the race day as well. Wont let it happen again. :)
My driving will be improved!
The TC-D cornering was more inwards (oversteer) and the speed was stupidly either too slow or too fast.
The group qualifying went well. Waited for the result, I managed to get into top 20 Super Expert class.
Another qualifying to select best 16 for both categories. I managed to slip in as well. Happy a bit.
On the qualifying round everyone tried to get the first long brushing including me.
My strategy to try it went wrong for the first 2 round and decided to play save on the 3rd judging run.
I only managed to get 4/5 clipping points and missed the first brushing. I noticed MOD like clipping instead of brushing.
It is their game, up to them to decide. I prefer more brushing as the real drift events or equal numbers of clipping and brushing. That is only my personal opinion. Yada yada yada.
I managed to be on best 16 together with Black, Naqy, Achom & Stephen
Abg Zai could make it due to major understeer. Asri was on the Expert class.
The tsuiso flow for the day.
http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc131/crabsteer/DSC08662.jpg
What I noticed these day, anyone from best 16 had fair chance to win.
There are sudden numbers of very good drivers with good setup.
I dare to say our best 32 drivers are in good level to compete locally or internationally.
my Best 16 tsuiso Warm up lap
Best 16 first round
There were no second round recording, Asri didn’t capture it. Eric just play save as it already 0-10 . He is a better driver on that day. :)
It was my mistake. I lose to myself. I repeated how I lost to Kandaq at RCC.
I always compete like I’m practicing speed. it can only be exciting with good friends and not while competing.
So best 16 for me now. :)
Having said that, my buddies result were Best 16 for Naqy and Achom as well.
Best 8 for black and 4th place for Stephen TC-D.
Best 16 Naqy Vs. Black
The camera memory was full. Will share more things and come out with next race reports.
Stay tunes.

What I noticed these day, anyone from best 16 had fair chance to win.
There are sudden numbers of very good drivers with good setup.
I dare to say our best 32 drivers are in good level to compete locally or internationally.
